ABOUT US

Family raised goldendoodles  in Northern Wyoming!

Why we Breed.....

We are a family owned small breeder. My name is Jen and I am the owner (with my husband David and 4 kids) of 307 Critters. As a child I always loved dogs. I grew up with a cocker spaniel, several labs, and a Lassa Apso. Many of my childhood memories included camping and playing outside with my dogs.

I've owned several dogs since I got married in 2000. We had a yorkiepoo named Harley until 2021 when she was tragically hit by a car while my daughters were taking her on a walk. We have had a yellow lab named Buddy since 2015 and Lucy, a little 18 pound mini-aussie since 2017.

But our "dog parent" lives changed in the spring of 2020 with our first goldendoodle Teddy. I always wanted a goldendoodle, but as a busy mom of 4 and a teacher, I never had time to train a puppy. Until the Covid closure (the one good thing that came out of the closure😂). I bought a goldendoodle and absolutely fell in love with the breed. I could totally understand what all the hype was about. My dog Teddy made the Covid shutdown bearable. If you ask my kids what they thought about the year 2020, they will tell you it was a great year because it was the year we got Teddy. They missed out on a lot of activities that were cancelled that spring, summer, and fall, but we will always have the memories of being at home with our sweet dogs Teddy, Lucy, Buddy, and Harley. It was out of this love for Teddy and my love of dogs that we decided to breed goldendoodles. In researching goldendoodles, I also because researching aussiedoodles. We had a mini-aussie and a goldendoodle  already, so I started researching the golden aussie-doodles. (golden doodle and mini aussie cross). The only breeder I could find in the Western United States was in Northern California. The puppies are known for their teddy bear like appearance and companionship personalities. They were a great fit for our family. Our first litter from Teddy and Lucy came in April of 2021, 6 days after our dog Harley died. These puppies helped our hearts heal from the tragic loss of our beloved Harley. It also helped me realize the immense amount of joy and healing we could bring into the world. The proceeds from this litter helped us to be able to buy Ellie (standard parti poodle) and Bailey (our dark red retriever). We also bought a Milo (our moyen poodle) a year later. We have had three litters from Lucy and Teddy and just had our first from Bailey and Milo. Every single one of our puppies has a story. They've gone all over Wyoming and are starting to spread to Colorado. We would also like to bring these little loves to Arizona and California.... two of our favorite states to visit in the winter months.

More about us...

Our dogs have the best life! We live in rural Wyoming in the Big Horn Basin where we are surrounded by mountains and lots and lots of beautiful blue skies! Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home and 5 acres that sit atop a hill overlooking the town of Lovell. We have a pond at our house where our dogs love to spend time swimming. We farm and ranch and most days our dogs take turns working on the farm or running on the farm in the evenings. They love to chase birds and deer while we change water in the evenings. They love to go to the Pryor and Big Horn Mountains with our sons and they love to snuggle at home and play fetch with our daughters. Our sons, are graduated and have moved out of our house, but they come home everyday to visit.... the dogs. They love to come get them and take them for runs on the farm and in the hills. They also like to take a dog or two to their houses for sleepovers. Our dogs are very much a part of the family and our puppies are raised with a lot of helping and loving hands from our whole family. Our goal is to raise happy, healthy, and well adjusted puppies that will spread joy and healing into the world!
